Chlorinated paraffin

Chlorinated paraffin is an organic compound, a chlorinated derivative of paraffin hydrocarbons, known for its low volatility, flame retardancy, good electrical insulation, and cost-effectiveness. It can be used as a flame retardant and an auxiliary plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It is widely employed in the production of cable materials, flooring materials, hoses, artificial leather, rubber products, and as an additive in polyurethane waterproof coatings, polyurethane athletic tracks, lubricants, among others.
